Lux Aeterna Epilougue 2005 Prayer

FDNY officer Louie Cacchioli survived the horrors of 9-11, but daily thinks of and prays for his fallen comrades, especially his partner that perished in the cataclysim. LIFE Photo

O Lord of Heaven, King of the Nations!
In Your Divine Mercy, have pity upon us.
We are rich in Your many blessings,
but poor in the spiritual attitude
of praise,thanksgiving and gratitude.
We take our prosperity for granted
until it is ripped from us.

Have mercy upon us, O God.
Show us the way of your truth.
Teach us to rely on You for help,
as we go about the tasks of daily living
You have shown us we cannot depend soley
on ourselves or the government You have established
Teach us to say the prayer from the heart

"Jesus, I trust in You!" and you alone
In the Name Above Every Name we pray Amen.
