Lux Aeterna Epilougue 2005 The Chaplet of Jesus, "The Divine Mercy"

The Christ of the Ozarks, Eureka Springs Arkansas.

In the year 1933, an obscure Polish nun, sister Faustina, received a vision from Jesus, who showed Himself as the Divine Mercy, and gave her a chaplet prayer to pray for forgiveness and to use for intercession for the people of the world. This series of prayers, a meditation on the suffering of Christ in His passion, is recited using a rosary and is prayed the world over as an intercession for peace in these times of trouble.

Chaplet of the Divine Mercy
Of St Faustina

Eternal Father,
I offer You the Body and Blood,
Soul and Divinity
of Your dearly beloved Son,
Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins
and those of the whole world.

For the sake
of His sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us
and on the whole world.

For the sake
of His sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us
and on the whole world.

For the sake
of His sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us
and on the whole world.

Holy God,
Holy Mighty One,
Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us
and on the whole world.

Holy God,
Holy Mighty One,
Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us
and on the whole world.

Holy God,
Holy Mighty One,
Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us
and on the whole world.

Lord Jesus, I trust in you...
